The Organisation
This is a UK-based professional services firm with a modern, flexible working style. The business is growing and values learning, teamwork, and using technology to improve how finance supports clients. You’ll join a supportive Accounts & Business Advisory function, with colleagues based in the UK and beyond.
- Work in a flexible way (home/office mix) with trust and autonomy
- Support a varied client base with accounting and business advice
- Collaborate with a wider team of specialists across the firm
- Be part of an Accounts & Business Advisory team of over 20 people
The Role
You’ll lead day-to-day client work, review key outputs, and help improve how the team delivers. It’s a hands-on role with real influence, where you’ll coach others and help clients understand what their numbers mean.
- Manage client relationships and provide ad hoc financial advice
- Oversee a portfolio and review statutory accounts and management accounts
- Interpret financial statements and explain insights and impact clearly
- Coach and develop team members through review and support
- Lead process improvement and team initiatives to support firm goals
- Spot opportunities to add value beyond the core accounts work

The Ideal Candidate
You’ll be confident dealing with clients and enjoy helping others succeed. You take pride in quality, communicate well, and keep work moving to deadlines. You don’t need to know everything on day one, but you should be curious and keen to learn.
Mandatory
- Hold a relevant professional qualification or be qualified by experience
- Demonstrate strong organisation, time management, and prioritisation
- Communicate clearly on technical points with clients and stakeholders
- Deliver high-quality work and maintain strong technical standards
- Build a positive team culture and collaborate well
Preferred
- Have experience leading or coaching others in an accounts/advisory setting
- Enjoy improving processes and ways of working across a team
- Be comfortable turning accounts into practical, plain-English insight
On Offer
