Salary: £38,161.67 - £42,831.52 per annum
Hours: 35.25 hours per week (full time)
Contract: Temporary for 9 months (Maternity Cover)
Closing Date: Friday 16 October 2026

Hillcrest Homes is recruiting for a Business Services Officer.

About the Department

Our Business Services Team is part of the wider Corporate Services function, providing support to all companies within Hillcrest. We provide support with a variety of functions including insurance, procurement, fleet management, information governance, social value, internal audit and equality, diversity and inclusion.

About the Role

This is a varied and interesting role which will require the successful applicant to work closely with other key staff throughout Hillcrest. As part of a small team, you will support a variety of functions with a particular focus on insurance, ensuring relevant policies are in place and claims are processed efficiently. Other key areas include:

  • Supporting the fleet management process
  • Maintaining the internal audit function

About You

You will have:

  • Knowledge and experience of insurance processes and policy requirements
  • Previous line management experience
  • The ability to upskill into new areas of work
  • Excellent IT skills
  • A relevant business-related qualification at a minimum of Level 7 of the Scottish Credit and Qualification Framework (SCQF)

About the Benefits

  • 32 days minimum annual leave (based on full time hours)
