Rawlinson and Hunter LLP is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to fill the role of Team Leader within our esteemed Business Services Department based in Leatherhead.

What You’ll Do:

As a Team Leader within the Business Services team, you'll play a pivotal role in guiding and mentoring our junior staff while ensuring the highest standards of quality and accuracy. Your day to day will include:

  • Overseeing and reviewing management accounts and statutory accounts for both UK and multi-national companies, providing expert guidance and support
  • Providing insightful advice on VAT and PAYE matters, including meticulous review of monthly, quarterly, and annual VAT returns
  • Assisting start-ups comprehensively in their financial journey, offering crucial financial support and guidance
  • Leading the implementation of cutting-edge accounting and computerized financial systems
  • Managing UK financial reporting for various entities, including limited companies, LLPs, partnerships, and sole traders
  • Fostering the growth of your team through training, reviews, and mentorship
  • Offering expert advice on a wide range of business subjects, strengthening client relationships

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Recent obtainment of an accountancy qualification with comprehensive knowledge of management accounting and statutory accounting
  • Team player that values collective success and contributes positively to the overall work environment
  • Professionalism and unwavering commitment to achieving excellence in all endeavors
  • Ability to delegate tasks and guide junior staff, empowering them to reach their full potential
  • Capacity to manage and build client relationships, providing exceptional service tailored to their needs
  • Excellent IT skills, enabling you to leverage technology for enhanced efficiency and productivity
