Business Solutions Analyst

Microbyte is looking for a Business Solutions Analyst to help clients get real value from AI. Not someone who ticks boxes on a technical checklist, but someone who gets a real kick out of sitting with a client, working out what's really going on, and shaping a solution that just works. Someone who has been watching the AI wave with real excitement and wants to join.

This isn't a traditional technical role. We care less about where you learned your skills than about how you think. Whether your background is in business, consultancy, customer service or tech, what matters is that you listen, you ask the right questions, and you care about the result. You'll be comfortable using modern AI tools to build and test ideas quickly, but you take the time to understand the problem before jumping to the answer. Most importantly, you believe technology should make people's working lives better. We build systems that empower the people who use them, not systems designed to replace them.

Are you the kind of person who keeps asking “why?” until you find the real problem? When a client says “we don't want to hire anyone else, we need more out of the team we've got”, would you naturally play it back as “so you want to do more with less”? Do you hear a business problem and think “that's basically a rating system like Uber” or “a booking calendar like Airbnb's”? Have you been looking for a role where curiosity and ideas matter more than years of experience?

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
