About the Role
PwC’s Managed Services delivers trusted expertise, rapid execution, and enduring outcomes by blending cutting-edge technology with deep operational insight.
As part of the Solutioning Team within the Managed Service Catalyst—a specialist group driving PwC’s managed services growth— this role focuses on designing scalable, process-led managed service solutions within:
- Financial Services (Banking & Capital Markets, Insurance, Asset & Wealth Management)
- Private Sector
Working alongside senior stakeholders, including Directors and Partners, you will:
- Bring deep expertise in business process design, operating models, and service delivery frameworks
- Translate client requirements into practical, deliverable solutions
- Focus on bid solutioning and bid writing, not technology architecture
Key focus: Shaping managed service opportunities to create lasting strategic, regulatory, and commercial advantage.
What Your Days Will Look Like
- Qualify & shape managed service opportunities, collaborating with senior stakeholders to:
- Understand client objectives, operating environments, and key constraints
- Develop bid strategies & win themes by crafting narratives that:
- Align client needs, policy drivers, and PwC differentiation
- Translate regulatory, policy, and operational requirements into scalable service designs
- Contribute to bid development, either as:
- Core contributor in writing high-quality responses
- Quality reviewer for technical accuracy & persuasiveness
- Inform pricing assumptions by working with commercial & finance teams:
- Analysing effort drivers, process volumes, and resource models
- Collate cross-functional teams (technology, delivery, risk, commercial) to:
- Ensure a cohesive, integrated solution design
- Support governance forums by:
- Preparing solutioning materials
- Addressing review feedback effectively
- Facilitate handover from solutioning to delivery, ensuring:
- Clear alignment of design intent and operational requirements

This Role Is For You If You Have
Essential Experience
-
Proven track record in designing outsourced or managed services
❗ Ideally across complex, regulated environments (Financial Services/Private Sector).

Bid & solution design experience, including:
- Written responses for client proposals
- Stakeholder & client-facing delivery

Skills in translating technical/regulatory complexity into:
- Clear, persuasive narratives
- Client-focused solutions

Deep understanding of service design principles, such as:
- KPIs, SLAs, governance models, and control frameworks

Strong stakeholder engagement capabilities, including:
- Influencing Partners, clients, and internal governance forums

Experience coaching/mentoring others in:
- Solutioning & bid disciplines
