Business Solutions Coach
We're looking for a Business Solutions Coach to join La Fosse Academy as we launch and grow our new apprenticeship offering across Business Administration, Project Management, Improvement and Quality.
This is an exciting opportunity to join at an early stage and play a key role in shaping how our apprenticeship programmes are delivered, while supporting learners to build the skills and confidence they need to succeed in their careers.
You'll manage your own caseload of apprentices, delivering engaging coaching sessions, workshops and progress reviews and making sure every learner receives the structured, compliant support they need throughout their programme.
This is a varied role that combines coaching, training delivery, assessment and learner support. You'll work closely with apprentices and their employers to make sure learning is relevant to their role, progress is clearly tracked and development is aligned to the requirements of their apprenticeship standard.
Alongside delivery, you'll be responsible for maintaining accurate learner records, marking and assessing work, setting clear development targets and supporting English and maths where required. You'll ensure programmes are delivered in line with DfE funding rules, safeguarding and Prevent requirements, Ofsted expectations and our internal quality standards.
As part of a new and growing offering, you'll also have the opportunity to contribute to how our programmes evolve. You'll work with the wider Academy team to develop curriculum content, strengthen employer engagement, improve processes and continuously enhance the learner experience.
We're looking for someone who is passionate about developing people and excited by the opportunity to help build something new. You'll be organised, engaging and confident managing multiple priorities, with strong knowledge of your specialist area and experience delivering apprenticeships within a regulated environment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
