Job Description
Programme Eligibility
To join one of our 12-month Internships you must meet one of the following criteria:
- You’re currently an undergraduate studying at University and returning to full time education in Autumn 2028
- You’re looking to gain work experience after completing your A-Levels, an equivalent course or an Apprenticeship
Additionally, you must also:
- Be eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the internship from Monday 5th July 2027 – Friday 21st July 2028
- Be able to work in NBCUniversal's Central London office on-site four days per week

What will I be doing?
As a Business Solutions Intern, you will support the Business Solutions team in understanding business needs and helping turn them into clear, practical technology and process improvements. You will attend stakeholder meetings and discovery sessions, helping to prepare materials, take structured minutes and maintain accurate records of actions, decisions and outstanding items.
You will assist with documenting business requirements, current processes and operational challenges. This will include creating process maps and workflow diagrams, as well as helping to maintain requirements logs, solution proposals, RAID logs, project trackers and governance documentation. You will also support research and options analysis, helping the team identify potential benefits, risks and dependencies associated with proposed solutions or process improvements.

As part of the role, you will help to log and monitor requests or issues using tools such as Jira and ServiceNow, follow up on agreed actions and ensure project information remains clear and up to date. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across Operations, Product, Technology, Engineering, Finance and project delivery teams, gaining an understanding of how different areas contribute to the successful delivery of business solutions.
With guidance and support from the Business Solutions Manager and wider team, you will gradually take ownership of clearly defined tasks and smaller work packages. This will allow you to build your confidence, develop practical business analysis and project skills, and make a meaningful contribution to live initiatives while ensuring that your work is appropriately reviewed and approved.
What will I learn from this opportunity?
You will learn how business needs are translated into requirements and technology solutions, while gaining experience in process mapping and project delivery. You will work with business and technical teams, use tools such as Microsoft 365, Jira, SharePoint, Power BI and Salesforce, and develop your communication, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills. You will also gain insight into international media, broadcast and streaming operations.
