Role Overview

Xceedance is seeking an articulate, customer-facing Business Solutions Specialist to drive the transformation effort for insurance operations engagements with the help of our proprietary AI tools and solutions. Based in London and focused on the London insurance (P&C) market, you will partner closely with our Delivery group, Business Development and Client Partner teams to translate client challenges into compelling, AI-enabled solutions — owning everything from initial discovery conversations through to tailored product demonstrations and produce solution design documents. You will act as the bridge between the delivery teams and our internal Product Implementation and Engineering groups, ensuring that what we propose is both commercially attractive and technically deliverable. Critically, this role owns the requirements interrogation itself — going beyond what the client states to identify what the underlying rules, data, and process actually require, including surfacing contradictions, gaps, and assumptions the client hasn't yet recognized.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep, working understanding of Xceedance's proprietary AI tools and solutions, and serve as the business solutions expert for new opportunities as well as existing accounts transformation.
  • Lead evangelization of IAN platform and its potential end-to-end execution — from initial client discussions and discovery through to solution scoping/proposals, handholding implementation/testing team, query resolution, production validation and post go-live review of planned vs actual benefits delivered, and coordination with all internal/external stakeholders.
  • Design and deliver compelling product demonstrations and proofs-of-concept that map our AI capabilities to specific client problems in the P&C and London insurance markets.
  • Conduct hands-on requirements analysis with client data and documentation — not just discovery conversations, including reconciling inconsistencies across systems, identifying data provenance gaps, and challenging stated business rules against what the data and documents actually show.
  • Partner closely with Business Development and Client Partner teams to shape pursuit strategy, qualify opportunities, and progress deals through the pipeline.
  • Liaise with the internal Product Implementation/Engineering groups to validate technical feasibility, relay client requirements, and ensure proposed solutions are deliverable.
  • Articulate complex AI and technology concepts in clear, business-relevant language for senior insurance stakeholders.
  • Maintain current knowledge of P&C insurance trends, the London market, and the evolving AI solutions landscape to position Xceedance as a trusted advisor.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 10–15 years of relevant experience, including a strong track record in solution design, solution consulting, or a comparable client-facing role.
  • Strong domain experience in P&C (Property & Casualty) insurance, with direct exposure to the London insurance market.
  • Exceptional customer-facing and communication skills — highly articulate, confident presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Sound understanding of digital technologies, AI concepts, including the fundamentals of AI and agentic AI, and the ability to translate them into business value.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead demos, discovery conversations, and solution discussions independently.
  • A genuinely inquisitive, persistent style of questioning, willing to challenge client explanations respectfully but firmly until the real rule or requirement is confirmed, rather than accepting the first plausible answer.
  • Comfortable collaborating across commercial (BD, Client Partner) and technical (Product Engineering) teams.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting detailed requirements analysis directly with business and technical stakeholders and able to give concrete examples of surfacing a hidden rule, data inconsistency, or contradiction that changed a project's scope or design.
  • Comfortable working hands-on with raw client data (spreadsheets, loss runs, claims data, documents) to validate what stakeholders describe against what the data actually shows.
