About this role
OpenTrain is recruiting for a Business Strategy AI Evaluation Consultant to evaluate how AI models reason through complex business problems. You will apply structured consulting methods, business analysis, and clear written communication to improve model responses and support expert-level performance in AI training and evaluation work.
What you will do
- Evaluate AI-generated responses to business strategy and consulting-style problems.
- Write high-quality prompts, model answers, and detailed feedback.
- Apply structured frameworks to assess reasoning quality and identify gaps.
- Work with evolving project guidelines and contribute clear, consistent judgment.
- Help improve the quality and reliability of AI-generated business analysis.

Required skills
- At least one year of experience at a leading management consulting firm or a similar organization, with at least part of that experience within the past seven years.
- Strong structured problem-solving and business analysis skills are required, along with excellent written English and the ability to explain complex judgments clearly.
- Candidates should hold an undergraduate degree from a top-ranked university and be based in an English-speaking country.

Work arrangement and pay
This is a remote contractor opportunity. The hourly rate for this role is $245-$280 per hour.
Helpful background
- Experience with business strategy, market research, financial analysis, stakeholder management, or business writing can support success in this role.
- Familiarity with evaluating written reasoning and developing high-quality answers is also useful.
