Position Description

At CGI, you’ll help shape the strategic direction of organisations undertaking complex, technology-enabled transformation, turning ambitious ideas into measurable business outcomes. As a senior member of our consulting practice, you’ll have the autonomy to advise executive leaders, shape investment decisions and take ownership of transformation from strategy through delivery. You’ll bring fresh thinking to complex business challenges while working alongside multidisciplinary experts who will support you in delivering lasting change. Beyond individual engagements, you’ll help grow our consulting capability through business development, thought leadership and mentoring, creating new opportunities for our clients, our teams and CGI.

CGI was recognised in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work List 2025 and has been named a UK ‘Best Employer’ by the Financial Times. We offer a competitive salary, excellent pension, private healthcare, plus a share scheme (3.5% + 3.5% matching) which makes you a CGI Partner not just an employee. We are committed to inclusivity, building a genuinely diverse community of tech talent and inspiring everyone to pursue careers in our sector, including our Armed Forces, and are proud to hold a Gold Award in recognition of our support of the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant. Join us and you’ll be part of an open, friendly community of experts. We’ll train and support you in taking your career wherever you want it to go.

Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This is a hybrid position.

Your future duties and responsibilities

In this role, you will lead complex technology-enabled transformation engagements, working with executive stakeholders to establish strategic direction, prioritise investment and translate business ambitions into achievable transformation roadmaps. You’ll take ownership of programme outcomes, delivery quality, commercial performance and client relationships, using evidence and insight to influence critical decisions.

You’ll also play an important role in the continued growth of our consulting practice. You’ll identify and shape new opportunities, introduce innovative approaches and lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes. As an experienced consulting leader, you’ll mentor colleagues, share expertise and help create an environment where people have the support and confidence to develop their careers and make an impact.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
