About the role

Join National Gas Services (NGS) and play a key role in keeping our leadership team organised, informed, and focused on delivering essential services across the UK and Ireland.

You'll provide high-quality administrative support that helps teams work efficiently, make informed decisions, and maintain excellent service for colleagues, customers, and stakeholders

What you'll be doing

  • Support senior leaders with day-to-day administrative activities and coordination
  • Arrange meetings, visitor access, room bookings, refreshments, and event logistics
  • Coordinate travel, accommodation, and itineraries for business visits and off-site activities
  • Prepare agendas, presentations, reports, and supporting documentation
  • Record meeting minutes, track actions, and support timely completion of key commitments
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, purchase orders, and business information
  • Support virtual and face-to-face meetings using meeting room technology and collaboration tools

What you'll bring

This role would suit someone who enjoys staying organised, building positive relationships, and helping others work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Essential

  • Experience in an administrative, business support, or team support role
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate information
  • Confidence communicating professionally with colleagues at all levels, including senior leaders
  • Ability to prioritise competing tasks and manage changing demands
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously
  • Experience using business systems or databases to maintain records and information
  • Full UK driving licence

  • Confidence supporting senior leaders or management teams
  • Familiarity with coordinating business travel and accommodation arrangements
  • Ability to capture meeting minutes and track actions through to completion
  • Understanding of purchase order processes and procurement activities
  • Exposure to producing reports, management information, or performance data
