About This Opportunity

Join a growing language services company as a Business Support Administration Apprentice. Ideal for a highly organised, confident communicator seeking a long-term career in administration, customer service, and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate interpreter bookings by contacting linguists by telephone and email and scheduling assignments
  • Build positive professional relationships with interpreters and clients
  • Support the onboarding of new interpreters and ensure required documentation is received and recorded
  • Maintain accurate records within internal systems and databases
  • Prepare and issue interpreter identification badges and related documentation
  • Assist with general administration, customer enquiries, and office support tasks
  • Support continuous improvement of internal processes and procedures
  • Assist with website and marketing administration activities where appropriate

You will complete the Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship while gaining practical experience in a busy, professional business environment. Full training and support will be provided by The Growth Company to help you achieve your apprenticeship and reach your full potential.

We are looking for someone who wants more than an apprenticeship. Our aim is to develop the right person into a valued long-term member of the team, with opportunities to take on increased responsibility as their skills and experience grow.

The successful candidate will communicate effectively with a wide range of people, manage their time well, take ownership of tasks, and work independently within a supportive remote team.

  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, manage deadlines, and organise work effectively
  • An organised approach to file management and maintaining internal databases
  • Strong Microsoft application skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Willingness and confidence to learn new software and systems
  • Previous customer service, administration, volunteering, or work experience is advantageous but not essential. Attitude, communication skills, and willingness to learn are more important.
  • Knowledge of Wix or Canva would be advantageous but is not essential.
