82878 - Business Support Administrator

You will report to the Client Delivery Manager and will work within UK Power Networks Services based in our Aldershot office. You will be a permanent employee

You will attract a salary of £38,832 and a bonus of 3%

Close Date: 6th September 2026

Job Purpose

You will support the project management function on projects across Hampshire and Wiltshire in addition to the wider UKPN Services business to ensure that the Projects are delivered to time, cost and quality

Responsibilities

  • To raise Service Orders and Purchase Orders
  • To provide project costing information
  • Process goods receipt/post supplier invoices
  • Investigate and resolve Parked and Blocked Invoices
  • Raise Gate C paperwork
  • Maintain Training Plans
  • Maintain Inspection records
  • Arrange and support monthly Team and Safety Meetings
  • Maintain Programmes of Work schedules and reporting
  • Prepare project packs to issue to the delivery teams.
  • Prepare completion certificates for issuing through to commercial
  • Source utility plans for project teams
  • Absence and holiday recording and reporting
  • Co-ordinate IT requests and maintain records
  • Co-ordinate PPE requirements and maintain records
  • Order and maintain stationery and maintain records
  • Process timesheets, expenses, invoices and maintain records
  • Maintain local goods delivery log
  • Maintain staffs' competency records
  • Investigate and answer internal and external customers queries
  • Support local Project Review meetings and HESACs e.g. minutes
  • Support Project risk meetings and maintain register
  • Help with Project Monthly progress and KPI reporting
  • Support Ludgershall office staff and MUJV staff at Tidworth during periods of high work load or sickness

Principal Accountabilities

Financial

  • Parked and Blocked invoice levels zero

Customer

  • Positive feedback from internal customers including Project Managers
  • Minimise customer complaints

Process

  • SAP updated promptly
  • No retrospective purchase orders
  • Accurate performance reports
  • Correct Purchase Orders
  • No errors on Service Orders

People

  • Agree and review IPR goals and performance
  • Attend monthly Team meetings
  • Contact your Manager to report sickness observing procedures
  • Attend Return to Work interview on your return
  • Complete a sickness Self Certification Form upon return to work
  • Achieve zero days lost due to accidents

Essential Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

  • You will be PC literate with experience using Word, Excel and Outlook competently
  • You will value team working and the ability to work co-operatively with others to achieve shared goals
  • You will have initiative and a flair for problem resolution
