Looking for a role where you can develop valuable business skills, build a professional career, and learn about the financial services industry?

We're looking for a Business Support Administrator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent college or university leaver, or someone looking to build a new career in a professional services environment.

No previous financial services experience is required. What matters most is your willingness to learn, strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and a positive, professional approach. In return, we'll provide training, support, and opportunities to develop your career within a growing and respected business.

Role Overview

You'll provide administrative and operational support to financial advisory firms across the UK. Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, you'll help ensure important business processes are completed accurately and efficiently while delivering a high standard of service to our clients.

  • Provide administrative support across a range of business and compliance services.
  • Manage and update client records, ensuring information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Respond to client enquiries by phone and email, providing a professional and helpful service.
  • Complete background checks, including fit and proper, criminal record, and credit checks.
  • Produce reports and maintain documentation to a high standard.
  • Support the preparation of client correspondence and business documentation.
  • Assist with data collection, reporting, and record management activities.
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure client requests are completed within agreed service levels.
  • Develop strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the client experience.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

Essential Requirements:

  • Strong customer service skills with a professional and friendly approach.
  • Previous administrative experience gained through work, education, volunteering, or placements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Right to work in the UK without the need for future sponsorship.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience working in an office, customer service, or administrative environment.
  • Interest in financial services, compliance, or professional services.
  • Experience dealing with customers by phone and email.
  • Knowledge of CRM or database systems.
  • Desire to work towards professional financial services qualifications.

This is a hybrid role - you'll work with the team in our Glasgow office on Stanley Boulevard (G72) three times each week. We've got free parking and are located close to the motorway for easy access. We're also a short walk from Hamilton West railway station.
