About The Role
Pertemps Edinburgh Contracts seeks a Business Support Administrator for a public sector client in Liberton (EH16). This full-time, temporary position offers £14.51 per hour and runs Monday to Friday, 09:00–16:45, fully office-based. Starting ASAP, the role involves booking funerals with precise record-keeping, plus accurate data entry. You will handle calls from funeral directors, families, and celebrants, managing enquiries and complaints with professionalism and sensitivity. General administrative duties support the wider team. Ideal candidates possess sharp attention to detail, strong organisational abilities, and confident communication skills. Prior experience in a similar administrative capacity is beneficial for this sensitive and structured environment.

- Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00–16:45 (fully office-based)
- Pay Rate: £14.51 per hour

Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Booking in funerals and ensuring all information is recorded accurately.
- Data entry and maintaining accurate records.
- Handling incoming calls from funeral directors, families, celebrants, and other contacts.
- Managing enquiries and complaints professionally and sensitively.
- Providing general administrative support to the wider team.
