Business Support Administrator 🌟
Location: Central London Office
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)
The Opportunity
Are you an experienced administrator who enjoys taking ownership, keeping things organised and supporting the smooth running of a busy professional environment?
Our client is looking for a Business Support Administrator to join their London team and provide high-quality administrative and operational support.
This is a varied role suited to someone who has proven experience working in a busy, professional administration environment and is confident working independently, managing multiple priorities and taking responsibility for their workload.
You will play an important role in ensuring the day-to-day running of the business is efficient, organised and compliant, while supporting colleagues across a range of administrative, operational and financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative and business support
- Manage a varied workload, prioritising tasks effectively and working to deadlines.
- Coordinate and maintain internal administrative processes and systems.
- Prepare, format and proofread reports, proposals, presentations and other business documents.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, meetings, subscriptions and other company requirements.
- Maintain accurate records, databases, supplier logs and internal documentation.
- Support invoicing, debt collection and other financial administration activities.
- Assist with financial and operational audits, ensuring accurate records and compliance with internal procedures and ISO standards.
- Support the monitoring and administration of annual leave and sickness absence in line with company policies and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate new starter onboarding and training arrangements.
- Assist with internal training, staff communications and company initiatives.
- Support the organisation of internal meetings, events and staff wellbeing activities.
- Liaise confidently with internal teams, suppliers and external stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and increase efficiency.
- Provide general operational support to ensure the smooth running of the office and wider business.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Solid experience working within a professional administration, business support or office environment.
- Proven experience operating at a senior or experienced administrative level, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Confident working with confidential and sensitive information.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Degree educated - 2:1 or above.
- Previous experience within Property, Building Services, Professional Services or a similar environment would be advantageous.

The successful candidate will already have experience working within a busy administration function and will be comfortable taking responsibility for processes, solving problems and managing competing priorities without requiring significant supervision.
