About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing surveying practice in Nottingham for an experienced Administrator to join their team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual who has previous experience working within a surveyors, property, construction, or professional services environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting surveyors and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing administrative support to a team of Surveyors.
  • Preparing and formatting reports, valuation documents, and correspondence.
  • Managing diaries, meetings, and appointments.
  • Handling inbound telephone and email enquiries professionally.
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems.
  • Processing documentation and ensuring compliance records are up-to-date.
  • Coordinating surveys and arranging appointments.
  • Filing and document management, both electronic and paper-based.
  • Assisting with invoicing and other general office administration duties.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous administration experience within a surveyors, property, construction, or related professional services environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative.
  • Professional and client-focused approach.
