Business Support Assistant – Remote UK

Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 per year
Location: Remote (United Kingdom)
Job Type: Full-time / Permanent

About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a motivated and organised Business Support Assistant to join their growing team on a fully remote basis.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys administration, organisation, and supporting day-to-day business operations. You will work with colleagues across different areas of the business, helping to keep processes organised and ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.

Training and support will be provided, making this role suitable for candidates with relevant administrative experience as well as those looking to develop their career in business support and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operational support to internal teams.
  • Maintain accurate records, documents, and business information.
  • Assist with emails, correspondence, and routine enquiries.
  • Coordinate meetings, appointments, and internal activities.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and basic business documentation.
  • Update databases and internal systems accurately.
  • Monitor outstanding tasks and help ensure deadlines are met.
  • Support the organisation of projects and business activities.
  • Liaise with colleagues and external contacts when required.
  • Follow established processes and contribute to improving administrative workflows.

About You

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office or similar business software.
  • Able to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Positive, reliable, and willing to learn.
  • Previous administration, business support, or customer service experience is useful but not essential.
