Business Support Assistant - 1x Permanent, Full-time position

As we continue to grow, Tai Tarian is looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic Business Support Assistant, who will be responsible for providing comprehensive business support to the Plant & Transport Team.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive business support administrator to join our team. The role will provide essential administrative support to our plant and transport operations including assisting with scheduling and coordinating transport logistics and plant maintenance, maintaining accurate records of plant and vehicle inventories, and liaising with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth and efficient operations and processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong organizational skill set, an eye for detail, and an ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The role is permanent, with a salary of £26,457 a year.

About the role:

To be successful in the role of Business Support Assistant, our new team member will have a minimum level of education Level 2 or equivalent experience in a similar role, as well as having the skills below:

  • A driving license and experience of driving vans would be an advantage, but not essential.
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • A high level of IT literacy, in particular the use of Microsoft Teams/Office plus other subject-related systems/databases.
  • A proven track record in office administration or business support functions.
  • People-centric, with experience of communicating with internal or external stakeholders.
