Job Title: Business Support Co-ordinator
Location: Sherburn or Peterborough (Flexible hybrid)
Contract: Permanent, part-time 20 hours per week. We can be flexible on the working hours for this role.
Our Business Support team at Asterra are looking for a Business Support Co-ordinator to join their collaborative and supportive team. In this role, you'll provide essential administrative support across our KW, Trident and AMUR businesses, working closely with customers, suppliers, hauliers and internal teams to deliver outstanding service while ensuring transactions, documentation and processes are managed accurately and efficiently.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing customer administration activities, ensuring transactions are processed accurately and efficiently from point of sale through to delivery.
- Processing customer invoices, dispatch documentation and related records in a timely and accurate manner.
- Responding to and resolving enquiries received from customers, suppliers and hauliers via email and other communication channels.
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies, complaints and queries, working with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the best outcome.
- Maintaining accurate records, databases and reports while ensuring information is stored correctly and can be easily retrieved when required.
- Supporting commercial, operational, logistics and procurement teams with administrative activities and reporting requirements.
- Managing high volumes of work across multiple priorities, including activity received through a busy shared mailbox environment.
- Contributing to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, systems and ways of working.

What You'll Bring
- Previous administration, business support, customer service or office support experience.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when working with data, documentation and financial information.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and manage competing demands.
- Confident communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
- A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
- Experience within finance administration, accounts administration, logistics administration or supply chain administration would be advantageous
