Reporting to the Assistant Depot Manager, this is a varied, site-based role providing administrative, analytical and operational support to the depot management team. The Role

  • Work closely with depot, head office, commercial and operational teams.
  • Produce daily and weekly reports and management information as required.

  • Update and monitor depot KPIs and performance information.
  • Receive, manage and respond to customer and supplier enquiries.
  • Support commercial enquiries and coordinate associated administrative activities.
  • Create, amend and maintain purchase and sales orders, contracts and relevant system records.
  • Coordinate collection requirements and liaise with transport and other relevant parties.
  • Investigate and administer operational variances, including material grades, pricing, weighing information, tickets and material breakdowns.
  • Handle incoming telephone enquiries professionally and ensure queries are directed or resolved appropriately.
  • Support the accurate completion of local depot administration and documentation.
  • Assist with month-end reporting and reconciliation activities.
  • Provide administrative cover for weighbridge operations when required.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Undertake other reasonable duties and projects as required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
