Role Description

The Business Support Coordinator is a full-time position based in Soho, Central London, with hybrid working available. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing company delivering environmental certification, verification and sustainability assurance services to clients across the UK and internationally.

This is a varied and hands-on role providing administrative, operational and project coordination support across the business. Working closely with our technical, commercial and management teams, you will play an important role in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, clients receive an exceptional service and internal operations run smoothly.

The role spans finance administration, CRM management, customer support, project coordination and business administration, offering excellent opportunities for career development within a growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating project administration from enquiry through to completion, ensuring deadlines and milestones are met.
  • Managing calendars, meetings, travel arrangements and correspondence for project teams.
  • Preparing reports, proposals, presentations and client documentation to a high professional standard.
  • Maintaining accurate records within CRM and internal management systems.
  • Supporting finance administration, including invoicing, purchase orders, expense processing and payment tracking.
  • Acting as a first point of contact for clients, certification bodies and business partners, responding to enquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Assisting with project scheduling, auditor logistics and resource planning.
  • Monitoring project progress and key business metrics, producing internal reports where required.
  • Supporting continual improvement initiatives by helping to streamline business processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Assisting with the organisation of training events, client meetings, conferences and company activities.
  • Providing general administrative support across the business as required.

We're looking for someone who is energetic, proactive and highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and a genuine desire to develop within a professional consultancy environment.

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Environmental Management, Sustainability or a related discipline.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and manage competing deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence communicating professionally with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret information, identify trends and support informed decision-making.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent administrative and document management skills, maintaining high levels of accuracy.
  • The ability to support and improve internal business processes through a practical and organised approach.
  • Strong customer service skills with a commitment to delivering an excellent client experience.
  • Experience using CRM or project management software would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience within environmental consultancy, sustainability, certification, professional services or a similar sector would be beneficial, although not essential.
