The Role
The Business Support Executive plays a vital role in supporting Millbrook’s operations and ensuring that deals are managed efficiently from proposal through to payout. The role coordinates proposals to our panel of lenders, checks deals against lender appetite and criteria, and manages the payout process, including producing accurate lender documentation. The Business Support Executive works closely with the sales and underwriting teams to maintain smooth workflows, compliance, and excellent client service.

What you’ll do
Proposal & Lender Coordination
- Send proposals to the panel of lenders in line with internal processes and client requirements.
- Check all deals against lender appetite, criteria, and risk policies before submission.
- Track proposal responses and support sales teams with updates and next steps.
Deal Processing & Payouts
- Manage the end-to-end payout process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
- Collate and prepare required documentation for lender payout packs.
- Liaise with lenders, clients, and internal teams to resolve queries or missing information.
- Ensure deals are progressed promptly to completion and funds are released without unnecessary delay.
Documentation & Compliance
- Produce and review lender documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to requirements.
- Maintain clear records of all proposals, approvals, and payout documents.
- Support compliance checks, ensuring deals meet regulatory and internal standards.
Operational Support
- Provide day-to-day support to sales, underwriting, and management teams.
- Assist with reporting, pipeline tracking, and workflow monitoring.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to drive efficiency across the business.

What you’ll bring
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in financial services, asset finance, or a similar regulated environment desirable.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with lenders, clients, and colleagues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (HubSpot experience desirable).
