Join our team at KeolisAmey Metrolink (KAM), the largest light rail network in the UK!
We are currently offering a temporary opportunity for up to 12 months, to support our Engineering Services and Facilities Team. In this varied and dynamic role, you will be responsible for providing essential administrative support and being involved in the day-to-day operations of the business.
You will be at the heart of our operations coordinating key processes and managing documentation to supporting business planning and building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, you'll play a vital role in delivering excellent service and driving business success.
This role will also include occasional travel to our Trafford Depot.
Key Accountabilities Will Include
- Manage facilities helpdesk, ensuring all requests and service tickets are accurately logged, assessed, and assigned to the appropriate department in a timely manner
- Administer and process Contractor and staff family travel pass applications in a time and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with company policies including personnel car park passes.
- Process and manage all stationery and kitchen supply orders, ensuring items are ordered accurately and within agreed timescales.
- Maintain records of all orders, deliveries and stock levels, ensuring adequate supplies are available to support business operations
- Liaise with suppliers to place orders, monitor deliveries, and resolve discrepancies
- Collect, sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail daily, ensuring timely and accurate delivery across the business
- Raise and receive purchase orders for third party supplier contracts
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in an administrative or business support role is essential
- MS Office Suite experience is essential including MS Forms
- Experience of dealing with internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner.
- Experience of processing orders, invoices, or service requests and monitoring progress through to completion.
- Understanding of confidentiality, GDPR, and the secure handling of sensitive information.

- Salary of £23,248 depending on experience
- Up to 12months maternity cover, working full time 30 hrs per week
