This is more than a training role. As part of our Business Support team, you'll work alongside Business Development Directors and Practice Management teams to develop people, strengthen practices, and lead meaningful change across your region.
You'll also play a central role in delivering our group-wide leadership programmes — including Senior Leaders, Developing Leaders, and others — helping to build the next generation of veterinary leaders across VetPartners.
We'll invest in you from day one: comprehensive training, coaching from experienced colleagues, and the support you need to thrive in the role.
What You'll Be Doing
- Collaborative projects – Partner with BDDs and Practice Managers on people and practice development initiatives.
- Leadership programme delivery – Facilitate and deliver Senior Leaders, Developing Leaders, and central L&D programmes.
- Supporting continuous improvement – Identify opportunities for improvement and support practices through change.
- Coaching & mentoring – Build confidence, capability in individuals and practice teams.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
