Business Support Manager

Farringdon, London (4 days office based, 1 day flexible)
£45,000 - £50,000 + Benefits
Full Time, Permanent

I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Business Support Manager to join a growing professional services organisation based in Farringdon, London. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and proactive individual who enjoys improving processes, managing teams, supporting senior stakeholders, and driving operational excellence across a business.

The Opportunity

Reporting into senior leadership, you'll take ownership of business support operations, ensuring systems, processes, and administrative functions run efficiently across the organisation. You'll play a key role in supporting business growth, improving workflows, coordinating resources, and leading a business support team. This position offers excellent exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to contribute to strategic business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and line manage the business support/administration team
  • Coordinate business support functions and resource allocation across the organisation
  • Drive process improvements and workflow efficiencies
  • Maintain internal procedures, guidance documentation, and SharePoint resources
  • Support the production and formatting of high-quality bids, proposals, and business documents
  • Provide confidential support to senior leaders and directors
  • Organise leadership meetings, agendas, actions, and follow-up activities
  • Lead internal engagement initiatives, events, and social value activities
  • Support wider operational and strategic business projects as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience managing and leading administration, operations, or business support teams
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience improving processes and implementing efficiencies
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly when reviewing and formatting professional documentation
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Experience supporting senior leadership teams
  • A proactive and solution-focused approach
