Umbrella - £18.92 per hour - Umbrella
Job Purpose
As a Business Support Minute Taker, you will provide administrative support to Children's Social Care teams, with a primary focus on attending meetings, accurately recording discussions, and producing high-quality minutes. You will support the CHAT Team and wider Children's Services by ensuring records are accurate, confidential, and completed within required timescales.
Key Duties/Accountabilities
- Attend meetings and take detailed minutes.
- Produce accurate and professional meeting notes.
- Record actions, decisions, and outcomes discussed during meetings.
- Distribute minutes within agreed deadlines.
- Provide administrative support to Children's Social Care teams.
- Maintain confidential and sensitive records.
- Update databases and case management systems.
- Support day-to-day business support functions.
- Organise documents and meeting paperwork.
- Liaise with social workers, managers, and partner agencies.
- Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality requirements.
- Provide general clerical and administrative support.

Essential Experience Required
- Previous Minute Taking experience.
- Experience working within Administration, Business Support, or Clerical roles.
- Strong typing and audio transcription skills.
- Experience attending and recording formal meetings.
- Excellent written English and attention to detail.
- Experience producing accurate meeting minutes.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Experience working with confidential information.
- Good Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Essential Qualifications Required
- Demonstrable Minute Taking experience.
- Typing speed of 65 words per minute minimum.
- Minimum 95% typing accuracy.
- Right to Work in the UK.
Additional Information to Note
- Working Hours: 36 hours per week.
- Location: Trinity Road, Bootle, Merseyside, L20 3NJ.
- Reason for Hire: Fixed Term Contract.
- On-site interview.
- Interview Date: 15th October 2026.
- Minute-taking assessment forms part of the interview.
- Candidates must achieve 65 WPM and 95% accuracy to progress through the interview process.
- Supplier Submission Deadline: 12th October 2026.
- We work on bi-weekly payment schedule.
