Cammach are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client for an exciting Business Support Officer opportunity in Glasgow, offering the chance to join an established organisation in an office-based role.
ROLE
The Business Support Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the efficient day-to-day operations of the business by providing high-quality administrative, organisational, and coordination support across multiple functions.
The role requires a proactive, highly organised individual who can manage a varied workload, prioritise competing demands, and deliver administrative support with accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Working closely with employees, managers, and senior leadership, the Business Support Coordinator is responsible for maintaining effective business processes, supporting communication across the organisation, and helping to ensure the smooth delivery of operational activities.
The role contributes to the creation of a productive and well-organised working environment, promoting efficiency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
- Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring records are accurate and kept up to date.
- Monitor purchase orders and subcontractor records, including the review and approval of incoming invoices.
- Prepare and issue divisional sales invoices, responding to and resolving any related queries.
- Produce and format documentation in support of fee proposals, bids, and presentations.
- Attend meetings as required and accurately record minutes and agreed actions.
- Welcome visitors and ensure meeting rooms are prepared, organised, and appropriately equipped.
- Manage stationery, office supplies, and consumables to support the effective running of the office.
- Liaise with the building landlord and coordinate cleaners and maintenance subcontractors as required.
- Maintain a professional, safe, and well-organised office environment.
- Support Business Development initiatives where required including use of a CRM system.

Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience
- Educated to higher education level (or equivalent)
- Experience in the construction industry desired but not essential
- Experience working with a commercial Finance team desired but not essential
- Experience in using a CRM system desired but not essential
Skills And Any Other Requirements
- Be able to work in a fast pace, dynamic work environment with multiple priorities
- Be able to prioritize work in a heavily changeable environment
- Ability to maintain highly confidential information and exercise sound judgment
- Be able to communicate with all levels of personnel within and out with the organization
- Proficient in MS Office
- Planning and problem-solving skills and ability to adapt
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Must pass any company or client scheduled or random drug screens
