About The Role

This role provides essential organisational and governance support to senior leaders and Members, ensuring meetings, communication and key processes run smoothly and to a high professional standard. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, anticipating needs, managing complex schedules and supporting the delivery of strategic and democratic functions across the Service.

You Will Be Responsible For

  • Coordinating high-level meetings including agendas, papers and accurate minutes
  • Managing senior leaders’ diaries and arranging travel and logistics
  • Supporting democratic processes through preparing and publishing Member papers
  • Providing proactive administrative support

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings professionalism, discretion and strong organisational capability to a fast-paced environment. You’ll have proven administrative or PA experience and the confidence to support senior leaders while maintaining accuracy, calm and clarity.

You Will Be

  • Organised and proactive and able to anticipate needs and manage competing priorities
  • A strong personable communicator, clear and confident when engaging with colleagues and Members
  • Detail-focused producing accurate minutes, polished documents and reliable administrative outputs
  • Professional and discreet handling sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality
  • Adaptable comfortable working independently and as part of a wider team

Experience And Qualifications Required

Qualifications & Training:

  • Minimum of two GCSEs (or equivalent) including grade 4 (C) Maths and English
  • Ability to travel independently around Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes and at times further afield

Experience

  • Proven office / administration experience
  • Experience of working within a dynamic and at times demanding environment whilst maintaining attention to detail
  • Personal assistant duties experience
