School Admission & Transport Appeals
Do you want to join a busy, dynamic and enthusiastic team which organises, advises and supports School Admission/Permanent Exclusion and Transport Appeals?
We are looking for a Business Support Officer to join our team, supporting the administration of statutory school admission appeal processes. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring appeals are managed efficiently, fairly and in line with legislation and local procedures.

You will provide high-quality administrative and business support within a busy team, ensuring that appeal cases are managed effectively and statutory deadlines are met. Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining accurate records, databases and filing systems.
- Preparing, checking and distributing documentation to a high standard.
- Responding to enquiries from parents, schools and other stakeholders by telephone, email and in person.
- Handling confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
- Supporting colleagues and contributing to service objectives.
- Working within established policies, procedures and guidance to deliver an excellent customer experience.
