Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for supporting teams? Nottinghamshire County Council is seeking a Business Support Officer to lead and manage a team of 9 administrators. This hybrid role supports Residential Children's Homes and the training needs of Children's Social Workers. As a key player in navigating changes, including new systems and the development of AI, you will ensure our team thrives amidst Local Government Reform. Responsibilities
As a Business Support Officer, Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Leading and managing a team of administrators to ensure effective support for Residential Children's Homes.
- Leading and managing administrators supporting the training requirements for Children's Social Workers.
- Providing clear management oversight of processes and expectations.
- Acting as the voice of the team in operational discussions.
- Contributing to the development of the wider Corporate Business Support Service.
- Monitoring and reporting on service delivery and performance.

Requirements
To Succeed In This Role, You Will Need
- A management or business qualification to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent work experience.
- Strong financial acumen and knowledge of accounting procedures.
- A solid understanding of performance and people management principles.
- Excellent IT, literacy, and numeracy skills.
