Business Support Officer
£13,637 - £14,535 p.a.
(FTE 37 Hours £27,274 - £29,070 pa)
Part Time Position: 18.5 hours per week
Gosport Borough Council Housing Service has a bright future and we hope you will play a part in supporting the service to meet the needs of our customers.
Gosport Borough Council is responsible for managing over 3000 council houses and flats, some of which are dedicated to older persons and some as temporary accommodation. The service manages a varied Commercial property portfolio dealing with licences, concessions and a mobile home park.
We are looking for someone to join our busy Business Support Team with good administration and IT skills including using Microsoft Office when preparing letters, reports and specifications. Experienced using Excel spreadsheets to record and analyse data and using PowerPoint to prepare presentations.
You must demonstrate excellent customer service skills and have the ability to remain calm, polite and professional at all times. You must be able to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurately spoken English.

Applicants must be enthusiastic, good communicators and flexible with experience of providing technical administrative support. You will carry out a wide range of technical administrative functions including uploading information and certificates to the stock database and raising repairs as appropriate.
