Job Advert Summary
We are seeking an organised and proactive HR Business Support Officer to provide high-quality HR support within the school. The role is responsible for managing staff cover arrangements, supporting employee attendance and wellbeing, overseeing absence management processes, and delivering a range of HR administrative and operational functions. Working closely with managers, employees, agencies, and the Trust's central HR team, the postholder will help ensure compliance with employment legislation, safeguarding requirements, Trust policies, and safer recruitment practices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating staff cover and agency workers
- Managing return-to-work and absence processes
- Supporting employee wellbeing initiatives
- Producing HR reports and workforce data
- Maintaining accurate personnel records
- Assisting with audits and compliance activities
The successful candidate will be confident handling sensitive information, have strong organisational and communication skills, and be able to build positive working relationships across the school.
