Business Support & Operations Manager - UK
At Nanosonics, we’re committed to improving the safety of patients and healthcare professionals. We’re looking for an experienced Business Support & Operations Manager to lead our UK operational support team.
Reporting to the Head of Operations (EMEA), you’ll oversee a broad range of activities including order management, logistics, customer support, quality and compliance, office operations, and wider business support.
This is a varied management role for someone who enjoys building strong relationships, solving problems, and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the UK, EMEA, and wider Nanosonics organisation and play a key role in the effective running of the UK business.
Key Responsibilities
Business Operations & Office Management
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the UK office, maintaining a professional, welcoming, and collaborative environment.
- Provide operational and administrative support across the UK business, with wider EMEA responsibilities where required.
- Support onboarding of new colleagues, coordinating with IT to ensure equipment and systems are ready for Day 1.
- Support projects and initiatives across the wider EMEA business.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and support a team of two, providing clear direction, coaching, and day-to-day guidance.
- Set clear expectations and objectives and support the team to deliver high-quality, timely, and customer-focused outcomes.

Order Management & Logistics
- Manage the end-to-end order-to-cash process, including direct and distributor orders through the Nanosonics ERP system.
- Coordinate import and export shipments across the UK and EMEA, including imports from Global HQ.
- Liaise with freight forwarders and logistics partners to ensure efficient shipments and compliance with customs and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain appropriate stock availability for products and office supplies.
- Maintain accurate shipment and customer documentation in line with the Quality Management System (QMS).
Customer & Stakeholder Support
- Act as a key point of contact for customers, distributors, strategic partners, and suppliers.
- Build effective relationships with colleagues across UK, EMEA, and Global teams.
- Support sales and service activities by providing accurate and timely information.
- Take ownership of customer and operational queries, working collaboratively to find practical solutions.
Quality, Compliance & Finance
- Support compliance with the Nanosonics QMS, SOPs, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Ensure relevant employees complete required QMS training and maintain accurate records for audit purposes.
- Provide administrative support to Finance, including supplier invoices, payments, direct debits, credit checks, and accounts receivable.
- Support the collection and administration of financial information for new employees.
- Maintain business records and provide basic bookkeeping support for the UK operation.

About You
We’re looking for an experienced operations professional who is highly organised, commercially aware, and confident managing people and multiple areas of business support.
- Experience in business operations, administration, order management, logistics, or a similar operational environment.
- Experience managing or leading a team, with a genuine interest in developing people.
- Experience managing the flow of goods and data, purchasing, and/or inventory.
- Experience using ERP systems is essential.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Experience within the medical device, MedTech, healthcare, or another highly regulated environment would be advantageous.
- Experience working within a sales or commercial environment would be beneficial.
