About This Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Adoption Service as a Business Support Administrator, providing essential support to Adoption Panels and playing a key role in ensuring that important decisions affecting children and families are delivered efficiently, accurately, and in line with legal requirements.

Working closely with Panel Advisers, Managers, the Agency Decision Maker, and a range of partner agencies, you will help coordinate and support the smooth running of Adoption Panels from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and maintaining records
  • Managing reports and databases
  • Tracking actions and deadlines
  • Recording high-quality panel minutes of meetings
  • Ensuring decisions are communicated accurately and promptly to all relevant parties

This is a fast-paced and varied role that requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities. You will also:

  • Support the administration of adoption matching processes
  • Maintain accurate information on case management systems
  • Contribute to regulatory and performance reporting for senior leaders and Ofsted
  • Play an important role in the recruitment and onboarding of Independent Panel Members, ensuring all necessary checks and processes are completed to the highest standard

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
