At Vivedia, we believe technology should give our teams and ultimately our customers more confidence, more speed, and more control. As Business Systems Analyst, you are the owner for Salesforce, and the process authority within our AI Enablement team. You turn what the business needs into a clear, prioritised roadmap - and, because you understand how work really flows, you are the person who spots where AI and automation can take work away and makes sure it lands in the systems people use every day.
You own the backlog and set priorities by business value, applying process thinking before anything is built. That same understanding of how work flows is where the team finds its best enablement opportunities - you surface them, scope them, and hand them on to be built. You are also the working-level intelligent client to our managed service partner, translating business needs into well-scoped requirements so no work reaches them without that thinking applied first, while the AI Enablement Lead holds the commercial relationship and escalation.
As Business Systems Analyst, own the backlog and roadmap for Salesforce, prioritising by business value; map and improve the processes those systems support, using that view to surface where AI and automation can remove work; act as the working-level intelligent client to our managed service partner; and build internal knowledge of how our systems work so capability sits with the business, not only with external partners.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Business Systems Ownership
- Own the backlog and roadmap for Salesforce, prioritising by business value and outcome rather than volume of requests
- Act as the single point of clarity for what the systems should do and why, working closely with the teams that rely on them
- Translate business needs into clear, well-scoped requirements and user stories, applying business process thinking before anything is built
- Act as the working-level intelligent client to our managed service partner - scoping and prioritising work day-to-day
- Make sure changes are tested, adopted, and actually deliver the intended benefit, rather than simply shipped
Enabling AI & Automation
- Use your view of how work flows to surface where AI and automation can remove effort, building a pipeline of opportunities prioritised by value
- Hand well-scoped, genuinely useful problems to the AI Solutions Engineer and automation squad, staying involved through to adoption
- Embed AI capabilities into Salesforce and our core systems so they are part of how colleagues work day-to-day, not bolted on afterwards
- Make sure automation is applied to a sound process rather than layered over a broken one, so we improve how work is done rather than just speed up the mess
Process & Improvement
- Map how work really flows across the business, identifying where processes break down, duplicate effort, or create manual work
- Redesign processes to be simpler and more effective before reaching for a system change
- Build and maintain internal knowledge of how our systems and processes work, reducing dependency on external partners and on any single individual

Requirements
- Experience as a business analyst or product owner for Salesforce or a comparable business system, owning a backlog and roadmap

- The ability to sit with non-technical colleagues, understand the business goal, and translate it into clear, well-scoped requirements
- Confidence acting as an intelligent client to a delivery partner - you challenge, scope, and prioritise rather than simply passing requests through
- A pragmatic, value-led approach to prioritisation - you focus effort where it delivers most, and are comfortable saying not yet
- An interest in how AI and automation can improve everyday work, and the judgement to apply them to a sound process rather than a broken one
- Familiarity with Salesforce configuration and administration concepts, or the ability to learn our estate quickly
- A bias toward sustainable, documented ways of working over knowledge that lives in one person’s head
