Business Systems Analyst - SAP SuccessFactors

Location: Liverpool (Minimum 3 days per week in the office)

Position Type: Permanent

The Opportunity

Our client, a global law firm, is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join its IT Services team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing key business systems, with a focus on SAP SuccessFactors, while working closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure systems continue to meet operational requirements.

The role will involve business analysis, systems support, configuration, testing, reporting, and ongoing system improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
  • Work with business stakeholders to identify system improvements and enhancements.
  • Support, maintain, and configure SAP SuccessFactors modules.
  • Assist with the implementation and delivery of system changes and enhancements.
  • Conduct system testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of system data.
  • Support system integrations and assess the impact of upstream and downstream system changes.
  • Produce and maintain functional and process documentation.
  • Provide support and guidance to system users.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and third-party suppliers where required.

Required Experience

  • Previous experience working as a Business Systems Analyst, HR Systems Analyst, HRIS Analyst, or similar.
  • Strong experience with SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Experience supporting one or more of the following SuccessFactors modules:
    • Employee Central
    • Performance & Goals
    • Learning Management System (LMS)
    • Succession & Development
    • Compensation
    • Recruiting
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
  • Experience supporting business applications and system enhancements.
  • Experience with system testing and defect resolution.
  • Experience producing reports and dashboards.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience working with data management and system administration.
  • Experience with ServiceNow.
  • Experience with Intapp.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience with SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration).
  • SAP SuccessFactors certification.
  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
