Business Systems Analyst

We are looking for a self-motivated Business Systems Analyst to join the IT team based in Macclesfield. The individual will play a key role in driving forward digital transformation, working with the different departments across the business to promote change.

We have a complex ecosystem including an ERP system, WMS system, a PIM system, e-commerce website built on customised platform and marketplace integration platforms. We are looking for someone to help support these as well as help drive improvements.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Identify improvements to be made and collaborate with the teams to make this happen.
  • Assist in User acceptance testing for development work from internal developers and external third parties. Feeding back results so issues can be fixed.
  • Create and distribute user guides where needed.
  • Review, prioritise and resolve issues raised by users via Jira where possible. Escalating cases where needed.
  • Working with third parties to identify issues and finding a resolution which works for the business.

Required Skills

  • Attention to detail
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving
  • Written and verbal communication, able to adapt language to suit different stakeholders
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
  • Organisational skills with ability to prioritise workloads and demonstrate flexibility when demands change
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio etc
  • Business analysis methodologies and frameworks

Preferred skills/experience

  • Knowledge of Jira or similar system
  • Knowledge of retail/e-commerce/warehouse operations
  • Knowledge/experience in IT background
