Business Systems Analyst
£37,450.80 per annum pro rata
Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire - Hybrid
Full Time, Fixed Term until 29-Oct-2027
We are looking for a proactive and technically confident Business Systems Analyst to support and enhance the core systems that underpin our housing and operational services.
About the role...
Working closely with the IT Business Systems Manager, you will help ensure our key platforms continue to operate effectively while contributing to ongoing improvements and future system transformation.
- Maintain and enhance our existing housing and scheduling systems, including supporting version upgrades where required.
- Review system data and performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support the implementation and transition of replacement systems, ensuring they meet business requirements and deliver tangible operational benefits.
- Act as a key contact for system-related queries, supporting users, investigating issues through to resolution and working with suppliers where necessary.
- Contribute to system development by helping to design, test and implement enhancements, ensuring our systems continue to support efficient, customer-focused service delivery.
This role requires a strong appreciation of organisational processes, governance requirements and stakeholder engagement. As a key liaison between technical teams, business users and third-party suppliers, you will need to quickly build effective working relationships and navigate established internal ways of working to ensure successful delivery of system improvements and change initiatives.
About You
- Experience in a Business Systems Analyst, Systems Administrator or Applications Support role, with a strong understanding of how business systems support operational services.
- Confidence managing system upgrades, enhancements and process improvements.
- Well-developed analytical skills and the ability to use data to identify issues, trends and opportunities.
- Organised, adaptable and able to manage competing priorities in a complex environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable operating within established governance frameworks, following agreed processes and influencing stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
- Ability to learn quickly, understand organisational priorities and build credibility with stakeholders at all levels.
