Business Systems Developer

Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne
Salary: Up to £32,000 + Benefits

We're looking for a Business Systems Developer to join a growing IT team, helping to support, maintain, and enhance business critical systems across the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in SQL, systems integration, business applications, or application support who is looking to develop their career in a varied, hands-on role.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Developing and improving workflows within the company's practice management systems
  • Building and maintaining integrations with third-party platforms and services
  • Working with SQL Server, T-SQL, SSMS, and SSIS
  • Creating and maintaining reports, dashboards, and management information
  • Supporting users with business applications and system-related issues
  • Assisting with system upgrades, enhancements, and new projects
  • Producing technical documentation and supporting training initiatives

What We're Looking For

  • Experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, SSMS, and/or SSIS
  • Experience supporting or developing business applications and systems
  • Understanding of APIs and systems integrations
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders across the business
  • Experience within legal technology, practice management, case management, or document management systems would be highly advantageous
