An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Systems Manager to take ownership of a growing organisation's business systems landscape and play a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency, digital innovation, and business transformation.
This is a highly visible role, working across engineering, operations, projects, finance and IT to ensure technology solutions deliver real business value. With ERP at the heart of the organisation, you'll lead system improvements, process optimisation, integrations, governance, and future technology strategy.
The Role
As Business Systems Manager, you will:
- Lead and manage the organisation's ERP platform and wider application portfolio
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across business processes and systems
- Develop system roadmaps, governance frameworks, and technology strategies
- Work closely with stakeholders to identify operational challenges and deliver effective solutions
- Manage system upgrades, enhancements, integrations, reporting, and data integrity
- Oversee relationships with software vendors, implementation partners, and support providers
- Champion automation, standardisation, and digital transformation projects
- Ensure systems remain secure, reliable, scalable, and aligned with business objectives

What We're Looking For
You'll ideally have:
- Proven experience managing ERP or business systems within a manufacturing, engineering, or operational environment
- Strong understanding of finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and project-based business processes
- Experience leading system upgrades, integrations, and transformation initiatives
- Strong stakeholder management and vendor relationship skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
- Experience translating business requirements into practical technical solutions
Desirable Experience

- Epicor ERP or similar enterprise platforms
- PLM, CRM, or engineering systems
- SQL, Power BI, reporting tools, or API integrations
- Experience within regulated or quality-focused manufacturing environments
