Business Tooling Analyst - London
Role Overview
We are looking for an ambitious, organised Business Tooling Analyst to join our team. At Sokin, we are building a world-class operational environment that gives our teams the tools, processes and support they need to work effectively as we continue to scale.
Business Tooling at Sokin is all about making the way we work simpler, more scalable and more effective. This role will play a key part in owning and improving the tools that underpin how teams collaborate, manage information and deliver their work across the organisation.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes and helping people get more from their tools, while playing a hands-on role in the continued development of Sokin's global operating environment.
This role reports to the Director of Global Operations.
Key Responsibilities

- Jira domain ownership – working alongside the necessary colleagues in the CTO and CISO organisations to overhaul user management alongside our Sokin AD implementation for true onboarding and offboarding access management
- Take over day-to-day administration duties, including implementation of new projects and updates to workflows, custom fields and automations in-line with existing implementation principles
- Identify, propose and implement overhauled processes and tooling that optimise team and departments in their daily ways of working
- Complete a full clean-up of Sokin’s Jira architecture to reduce cognitive and processing overload and remove all unused and legacy items
- Design and implement an easy-to-maintain and scalable permissions structure
- Identify opportunities to implement/scale additional tooling and features available within the Atlassian platform, for both Jira Software and Jira Service Management
- Review and overhaul Jira Service Management service portals and customer facing workflows

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
