Business Trainer and Coach

Location: Peterborough

Role: Full-Time (Permanent)

Trade Mastermind is a leading business education provider dedicated to helping tradespeople transition from skilled workers to thriving business owners. Through our comprehensive 12-month academy blueprint, we equip our participants with the knowledge, strategies, and confidence to build and scale their businesses.

We are seeking an experienced Business Trainer and Coach with a proven track record in business management, training, and public speaking to deliver high-quality coaching, mentorship, and training to our academy participants.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development & Delivery

  • Collaborate with the curriculum team to enhance the 12-month academy programme, ensuring it aligns with industry trends and business best practices.
  • Develop specialised training modules tailored to the unique challenges of tradespeople transitioning into business ownership.
  • Deliver engaging, interactive training sessions both in-person and online, using diverse instructional methods to cater to different learning styles.

Coaching & Mentorship

  • Provide one-on-one coaching and ongoing mentorship to participants, supporting them in implementing strategies and overcoming business challenges.
  • Offer structured feedback, guidance, and accountability, ensuring participants remain on track to achieve their business goals.

Public Speaking & Industry Representation

  • Represent Trade Mastermind as a keynote speaker or workshop facilitator at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
  • Deliver high-impact presentations that educate and inspire audiences on the fundamentals of successful business ownership in the trades industry.

Performance Evaluation & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor and assess participant progress through regular evaluations and feedback sessions.
  • Identify areas for improvement and recommend additional resources or support to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure the programme remains cutting-edge.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience in business management, preferably within the trades or construction industry.
  • Strong background in training, coaching, and curriculum development, with a passion for educating and mentoring business owners.
  • Exceptional public speaking and presentation skills, with the ability to captivate and engage audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across diverse backgrounds.
  • High level of empathy, patience, and leadership, ensuring participants feel supported and motivated throughout their learning journey.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment and accommodate evolving programme needs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, education, or a related field (advanced qualifications or certifications are an advantage).
