We are working on behalf of a leading global insurance organisation to appoint a Business Transformation Analyst into their UK Change & Transformation function.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst with a strong insurance background to work on meaningful business change across a range of operational and commercial areas, including Underwriting, Claims and wider Insurance Operations.
The role is particularly suited to someone who enjoys going beyond traditional requirements gathering – someone who can understand a business problem, challenge existing ways of working, identify opportunities for improvement and help drive change through to implementation.
The opportunity
You will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams and delivery colleagues to:
- Analyse end-to-end processes, operating models and customer journeys
- Identify inefficiencies, risks and opportunities for improvement
- Translate complex business problems into practical solutions and recommendations
- Facilitate workshops and engage stakeholders across business and technology
- Support transformation initiatives from discovery through to implementation
- Use data and analysis to identify trends, root causes and opportunities
- Contribute to process redesign, business readiness and operating model change
- Identify opportunities for automation, digitalisation and AI-enabled improvements
- Support UAT, implementation and benefits realisation

What We’re Looking For
Essential: experience within the insurance industry
- Strong experience delivering business change / transformation, rather than purely technical BA work
- Commercial insurance experience across areas such as Underwriting, Claims, Pricing, Operations, Distribution or Delegated Authority
- Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills
- Experience with process mapping, requirements analysis and business process improvement
- Comfortable using data to support analysis and decision making
- Exposure to tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Miro or similar would be beneficial
- A curious, commercially minded approach with the confidence to challenge existing processes and ways of working

Location: City of London
Working pattern: Hybrid – 2/3 days per week in the office
