Business Transformation Manager

Location: London Office, Hybrid
Package: Competitive + annual discretionary bonus

About The Role

The Business Transformation Manager is responsible for shaping, leading, and embedding transformation initiatives across Healthxchange. Working directly with senior stakeholders, the role takes agreed improvement opportunities from concept through analysis, design, delivery, and adoption, ensuring change delivers measurable business value. The role combines business analysis, project leadership, process improvement, and change management capability. It will lead initiatives spanning both Technology and wider business functions, working closely with teams across Operations, Customer Service, Commercial, Finance, Pharmacy, and Technology. Success will be measured not simply by delivering projects, but by achieving sustained business outcomes and ensuring new ways of working are successfully adopted across the organisation.

Founded in 2000, Healthxchange is the leading supplier of medical aesthetic products and services to professionals across the UK & Ireland. Healthxchange proudly partners with award-winning brands including Obagi Medical, Medik8, and Jane Iredale to strategically commercialise their products in the market. We currently supply over 9,000 clinics with a full range of products (Skincare, Injectables, Energy-based devices) and services (software & education) to support their 360 business needs. The company offers a dynamic environment for innovation and growth in the medical aesthetic space.

Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, and desired outcomes.
  • Analyse current business processes, systems, and operating models.
  • Facilitate workshops and requirements gathering sessions.
  • Define future-state processes and operating models.
  • Produce process maps, business requirements, and impact assessments.
  • Assess risks, dependencies, costs, and expected benefits.
  • Support the development of business cases and implementation plans.
  • Translate strategic objectives into practical delivery programmes.
  • Lead cross-functional business and technology initiatives from inception through implementation.
  • Develop and maintain delivery plans.
  • Coordinate activities across departments and teams.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Ensure initiatives remain aligned to agreed objectives and business priorities.
  • Provide regular reporting and updates to senior stakeholders.
  • Escalate delivery risks and decisions appropriately.
  • Drive accountability across stakeholders and workstreams.
  • Develop and execute change and adoption plans.
  • Ensure the organisation is prepared for upcoming changes.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement activities across all levels of the business.
  • Design and coordinate communication plans.
  • Identify and address resistance to change.
  • Support managers and teams through periods of operational change.
  • Define and coordinate training requirements where appropriate.
  • Ensure new processes and ways of working become embedded.
  • Support business leaders in redesigning and improving operational processes.
  • Simplify and standardise ways of working across the organisation.
  • Reduce manual effort, duplication, and inefficiency through better process design.
  • Support automation and technology-enabled improvements.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure processes remain scalable as the business grows.
  • Define measurable success criteria for transformation initiatives.
  • Track progress against expected business outcomes.
  • Monitor adoption levels and operational performance following implementation.
  • Identify gaps between expected and actual benefits.
  • Recommend corrective actions where required.
  • Ensure investments deliver measurable value to the organisation.

Essential

  • Experience leading business transformation initiatives.
  • Strong business analysis and requirements gathering skills.
  • Proven project or programme management experience.
  • Experience delivering organisational change and driving adoption.
  • Process mapping and process improvement experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong facilitation and workshop leadership capability.
  • Ability to influence and challenge constructively at all levels.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work across multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Evidence of delivering measurable business improvements.

Desirable

  • Experience within healthcare, e-commerce, retail, distribution, or logistics.
  • Experience in a PE-backed or high-growth organisation.
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledge of change management approaches such as ADKAR or Prosci.
  • Experience delivering technology-enabled transformation programmes.
  • Exposure to ERP, data, CRM, or operational platform implementations.
