Business Change Project Manager
We are currently partnering with a market-leading Insurer to recruit a Business Change Project Manager.
The role turns strategic objectives into clear delivery plans and drives cross-functional projects from scope through implementation to sustainable change while working closely with sponsors, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to manage dependencies and deliver successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and delivery of assigned transformation projects and workstreams that support strategic business objectives within agreed scope and governance.
- Translate strategic objectives into clear project outcomes, scope, milestones, delivery plans, and measurable benefits with sponsors and stakeholders.
- Define project scope and schedules while maintaining a strong focus on timely delivery and measurable value.
- Coordinate complex cross-functional activity across teams, systems, and processes while managing dependencies and business readiness.
- Develop and maintain delivery plans that align project milestones and dependencies with wider programme and portfolio plans.
- Provide sponsors and governance forums with clear reporting, delivery insight, options, and recommendations to support effective decision-making.
- Identify and communicate the impact of delivery decisions across scope, timing, cost, risk, capacity, customer outcomes, and adoption.
- Influence stakeholders to secure alignment, decisions, actions, and ownership while maintaining momentum towards strategic outcomes.
- Manage project risks, issues, actions, and dependencies while escalating material concerns and strategic decisions with clear analysis and recommended actions.
- Lead project governance through effective status meetings, working sessions, progress reporting, and action tracking.
- Develop and deliver change management plans that support successful implementation, adoption, and sustainable business outcomes.
- Plan and coordinate stakeholder engagement and communications to build awareness, alignment, and commitment throughout the change journey.
- Coordinate enablement and training activity to help users and teams adopt new processes, systems, and ways of working while tracking readiness and adoption.
- Support wider transformation and portfolio management activity through consistent use of agreed standards, tools, and frameworks across planning, governance, reporting, and delivery.

Skills & Experience:

- Insurance Industry background.
- Strong knowledge of transformation, project, change, and portfolio management disciplines, frameworks, and governance.
- Great understanding of business change, target operating model design and implementation, and benefits realisation.
- Recognised project, programme, or portfolio management qualification, e.g., PRINCE2, MSP, PMP, APM, or equivalent.
- Change management qualification desirable, e.g., Prosci, APMG Change Management, or equivalent.
