A Snapshot of Your Day

Join us as a Business Transformation Specialist at Worcester Additive Manufacturing, where you will play a crucial role in our journey towards becoming a world-class Lean enterprise. Imagine collaborating with business leaders, functional teams, and external transformation partners to drive sustainable improvements in performance, capability, and culture across the organization. You will support the deployment of Lean principles, systems thinking, and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance quality, delivery, efficiency, and customer value. As a catalyst for change, you will help teams identify opportunities, remove barriers, and develop problem-solving capabilities, embedding new ways of working that foster long-term business growth and operational excellence.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Support the delivery of the Worcester Lean transformation program by facilitating improvement workshops, value stream mapping, and Kaizen activities.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance flow, quality, delivery, and efficiency, ensuring the sustainability of new ways of working.
  • Coach and support teams in Lean tools and continuous improvement methods, driving engagement and adoption of Lean principles across the business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve transformation objectives and support communication and change initiatives throughout the program.
  • Track transformation activities, measure benefits delivered, and monitor key performance indicators, providing progress updates to business leadership.

What You Need To Make a Difference

Certifications: Lean or Six Sigma.
Education: Proven professional experience in leading Lean or continuous improvement initiatives within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
Experience: A proven track record of delivering business improvement or transformation activities.
