Business travel consultant - Out of hours
Required for this global TMC. The role is homebased, they are looking for Out of hours business travel consultant experience with sabre. Salary up to 45k plus signing on bonus, benefits including 25 days holidays, up to 5% bonus, health and dental care, pension etc.
Business travel Out of hours consultants Skills Required:
- Previous Out of hours experience
- Knowledgeable on Sabre
- Fares & Ticketing Level 1 & 2 (or equivalent experience) essential
- Knowledge of Microsoft products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Possess good geographical and product knowledge of destinations and airlines
- On the pulse with world events and likely travel implications

Business travel Out of hours consultants Duties:
- Working out of hours, answering calls and emails from clients in a polite, efficient, and professional manner
- Offering expert advise in all aspects of travel
- Maintain the outstanding level of customer service provided by the ‘day’ team
- Work as part of an efficient team, communicating effectively both internally and externally
- To issue, re-issue and perform re-calculations of international and domestic airfares using sabre
- Sourcing the best and most cost-effective worldwide routes booking all flights, rail, hotel and all ground product

Additional information:
- 4 shifts per week, typically 2 midweek and 2 during the weekend
- Shift patterns Monday to Friday 6pm to 1.30am and 1am to 8am, during the weekends 9am to 5.30pm, 5pm to 1.30am and 1am to 9am
- Currently one full weekend off every 5/6
