Business Travel Consultant
Job Overview
Required for a global TMC working on a high dedicated account or mixed accounts. They are looking for experienced business travel consultants to work from home, office, or a mix of both. Salaries range between 26k/32k plus benefits. Ideally sabre, but Amadeus or Galileo candidates will also be considered.
Duties
- Act as Travel Advisor and Consultant to Corporate Business travellers, looking after high profile accounts
- Act as the point of sale on all travel requirements, arranging both routine and complex domestic and international business travel for air, road, rail, and accommodation, utilizing Amadeus
- Provide consultative advice, solutions, and recommendations. This includes conducting analysis and research on the best available fare/routing, and ensuring preferred air carrier and partners are recommended, while ensuring adherence to the customer's agreed travel policy and requirements
- Ensure customer travel profiles are detailed and accurate, following internal compliance and regulatory requirements for all customers and locations supported
- Manage the booking process through the ticketing and order fulfillment, either over the telephone or via email or back office systems and servicing platforms.

Skills Required
- Business travel consultant experience is a must, minimum of 3 years
- Ideally sabre, but they will look at Amadeus or Galileo consultants
- Strong airfares knowledge
- Ability to work under pressure
- Customer service orientated

Additional Information
- 4-week training, online but has to be full-time
- Great benefits including an amazing pension, 25 days' holidays plus the option to buy an extra 5 days, volunteering day plus many more
- Shifts between 8 am and 6 pm
