Business Unit Director – Facilities Management
London | Competitive salary + package
We have been instructed to appoint a Business Unit Director to lead and scale a London facilities management business unit for a high growth fast paced IFM provider. Our client delivers the full suite of FM services across a large and diverse client base. Due to a number of successful bids they are looking to add to their executive leadership team.
With responsibility for operational performance, profitability and client relationships, you will provide strategic direction, develop your leadership team and drive sustainable growth.

The role
- Take full ownership of business unit strategy, P&L and performance.
- Lead operational teams to deliver safe, compliant and high-quality services.
- Build strong relationships with clients and senior stakeholders.
- Drive contract retention, organic growth and new business opportunities.
- Improve commercial performance, productivity and service delivery.
- Develop talent and build a culture of accountability and collaboration.
About you
- A proven senior leader within facilities management or a related services business.
- Experience managing a substantial P&L and a portfolio of complex contracts.
- A strong track record in operational delivery, client retention and profitable growth.
- Commercially astute, with the confidence to influence at board level.
- An engaging leader who can develop teams and translate strategy into results.
